Happy Holidays!

Crazy, crazy day!  I love your children so much!  We had lots of fun, ate lots of junk, but most of all, enjoyed our time together.

See you all in a couple of weeks.

Just plain cute

Mrs. Claus got to drive the sleigh in class today, pulled by her trusty reindeer and her right-hand elf.

Holiday Sing-Along

The sing-along was so festive and fun.  We got to sit with out Grade 7 buddy class, which was the highlight for both classes.  Thanks to Mrs. MacFarlane and Ms. Doyle for hosting!

Grade 6 Biome Display

We had a chance to visit this display in the atrium today.  It was pretty chaotic but these little guys got right in there, asked questions, and listened attentively to the Grade 6 presenters.  Just WOW!

No Lunch Friday?

Looking ahead to our party day on Friday - we have had parents sign up to bring grapes, cheese, and mandarins which takes care of recess snack - it is already a hot lunch day, and there are plenty of treats to go around after lunch.
If your child is ordering hot lunch, then there is NO NEED to pack any food on Friday!
If they bring their own lunch, you can skip the recess snack.
No one needs to send an end of the day snack.

Yay to one less thing to do!

Holiday Hats and info

This week there will be a couple of occasions for children to wear festive clothes to school if they are interested.  Think Santa hats, reindeer antlers, and red and green colours.  On Thursday, we will join the rest of the school in the gym to sing Christmas carols, and on Friday of course, it is our class party day and anything festive is more than welcome.

Also note that on Friday, they will have some precious cargo with them that will likely not go into backpacks (wrapped gift for the family and a goody bag) and the forecast is for rain/snow.  If you are walking home that day, please bring a plastic bag to help them protect their special things.

Happy Holidays!
